Birth Doula Services
I am a holistic birth doula in Los Angeles who believes that birth is both a physiological process and a deeply human experience. Becoming a mother is a profound rite of passage — one that calls for grounded wisdom, emotional safety, nurturing care, and informed support.
My care blends evidence-based science, physiology-first birth practices, informed consent and advocacy, and the exploration of birth as a transformational threshold. I serve families throughout Los Angeles with a deeply personal, grounded presence — honoring your values, listening to your needs, and centering your voice every step of the way. My intention is to ensure you feel grounded, protected, informed and deeply held- no matter how your birth unfolds.
This is not a one-size-fits all- approach. This is care that is attuned to you- your story, your body, your fears, your strengths and your vision for birth. This is your journey, and I’m here as your steady guide and anchor through pregnancy, labor and postpartum.

THE COST OF A BIRTH DOULA
Investing in Your Birth Experience
Birth is one of life’s most powerful journeys, and the right support can shape it in profound and lasting ways. Choosing a doula is not simply a financial decision — it is an investment in your emotional safety, your physiological well-being, your birth experience, and your transition into motherhood.
The support you receive during this time can influence your confidence, your recovery, your mental health, your relationship with your baby, and the way you remember your birth for the rest of your life.
Investing in your birth is one of the most powerful gifts you can give to yourself, your baby, and your family.
Why Doula Support Matters - The Evidence Is Clear!
Decades of research show that having a doula significantly improves outcomes for both mothers and babies.
Hiring a doula is associated with:
39% decrease in cesarean birth
15% increase in spontaneous vaginal birth
10% shorter labor
31% decrease in dissatisfaction with the birth experience
Lower use of Pitocin, epidurals, and other interventions
Reduced likelihood of postpartum depression & anxiety
Improved bonding, confidence, and early breastfeeding
This is why organizations such as ACOG, WHO, and the American Academy of Pediatrics recommend continuous labor support.

WHY FAMILIES CHOOSE ME
Becoming a parent is one of the most vulnerable and transformative experiences of your life. You deserve care that feels deeply personal, grounded, and unwavering. Families choose to work with me because my support weaves together holistic wisdom, inner work, evidence-based care, nervous-system awareness, identity transformation work and a deeply mother-centered presence — from pregnancy through postpartum.
A Calm, Grounded Presence
Clients often describe me as the anchor in the room — steady, soft, and attuned. I support you emotionally, physically, and energetically so you feel safe, centered, and deeply held, especially during moments of intensity or uncertainty.
Holistic + Evidence-Based Care
My approach blends physiology-first birth practices, evidence-based education, advocacy, mindfulness, and holistic traditions. You receive care throughout pregnancy, birth and postpartum that honors both modern science and ancestral wisdom — without having to choose between the two.
A Truly Mother-Centered Approach
I am here to protect your experience: your voice, your comfort, your emotional landscape, and the sacredness of your transition into motherhood. Every decision is guided by your values, intuition, and sense of inner authority.
Advocacy & Informed Consent
I help you navigate medical systems, understand your options, and ask informed questions with confidence. You are never alone — your voice remains at the center of the room.
Support Beyond Birth
With pregnancy preparation, birth support, postpartum caregiving, lactation guidance, Ayurvedic healing, and newborn education, I offer continuity of care into early motherhood — one of the most supportive gifts a family can receive.
Trauma-Informed, Nervous-System–Aware Care
I provide support that understands how past trauma (abuse, violence, medical trauma, etc.) impacts the body and mind, and proactively work to prevent re-traumatization by creating a safe, consensual, non-judgmental, and empowering environment for my clients. I recognize trauma triggers, respect boundaries (especially regarding touch), focus on client choice and empowerment, and help individuals stay within their "window of tolerance" during intense experiences like labor.
Deep, Integrative Experience
With over a decade of experience as a newborn care specialist, lactation specialist, postpartum caregiver, and holistic doula, my support is embodied, intuitive, and highly personalized.
Birth as a Rite of Passage
My birth support is different because I approach birth not only as a physiological event, but as a profound rite of passage.
Preparation with me goes far beyond positions and coping techniques. Together, we cultivate emotional, psychological, and nervous-system readiness so you enter birth and new parenthood grounded, informed, and connected to your inner authority. Whether birth unfolds physiologically or with medical intervention, my goal is the same: that you cross the threshold into motherhood feeling intact, empowered, and deeply met.
My work is intentionally front-loaded. I believe how you prepare shapes how you experience birth. Our work includes private childbirth education, hypnobirthing, lactation education, newborn care, and postpartum preparation — all held within the understanding that birth is transformative on every level. We also go deep into birth as an expansive, transformative and identity-altering experience- preparing your nervous system, your relationship, and your inner and outer worlds with the tools necessary to meet the changes and transformation that bringing a child into the world brings to your identity, your relationships, your daily life, your job and life as a whole with less “oh no!” and more “of course”.
Evidence-Based + Initiatory (Not Either/Or)
Seeing birth as a rite of passage does not mean rejecting medical care. It means:
• Understanding the meaning of choices, not just the risks
• Practicing informed consent as relational, not transactional
• Framing interventions with clarity instead of fear
• Remaining embodied and psychologically intact, regardless of outcome.
